Day 5 Last day in del Mar

Our friends Lynnette and Allan headed home to Santa Rosa early this morning. Check out is not until noon and we are only going as far as Downey which is only a couple of hours away at most. We are going to hang out here for a while. 

Went for another nice walk today. Past the fairgrounds with cars waiting to get in. 

Through the San Dieguito River Park. 

Even saw a rabbit 

Then we went to Milton's for breakfast. And back to the hotel to pack up. We walked 3.7 miles total this morning. Plan to check out and be on our way by noon. 

We were on the road by 11:45 and in Downey by 1:45. We will be in Downey visiting family until Saturday morning. 

We are now relaxing, waiting for the fam. to arrive. 

Had a great dinner with the family.
